Avoiding freezing pipes?

If the heating is on, you need water in the header tank and in the hot water cylinder. Make sure all the pipes in the loft are well lagged. Set the tank and room thermostats to 4�C (usually marked with a snowflake) and override the timer to 24 hours a day. That way it will only come on if it's needed.
