think about �500 to get cage, equipment and birds. second hand cages can bring the price down a lot but make sure to clean well before use. pet shop probably your best bet as birds usually in good health but again your could lower your costs buy rehoming a bird from your local animal wellfare place. age wise - the younger the bird the longer you have them! weekly costs about �5-�10 per week. good luck. hope this helps
