Should i overclock my alienware m17 laptop?

i just bought and im thinking about overclocking it? i have the intel core 2 duo 2.24 ghz in it now... also im about to install a second ati radeon 3870 in it and i was wondering if i should install that first before doing so? i have cpu-z downloaded and set fsb also... so what do you think? should i try it or no? i mean i have little knowledge about this so far but i was going to do some more research and maybe try it? just wanted to get some info from some experienced individuals... and websites with info or tutorials would be appreciated if you know of some good ones.
