Want to remove agp card?

i want to remove a nvidia agp card.last time i removed it by unscrewing and pulling it out ,and when i started my pc it was not getting on,the monitor was not switching on.i want to ask if i remove just the agp card.then is there anything else to attach inside to make the monitor on.since last time i was scared.pc was getting switched on but the monitor was dark.anything to attach inside after i remove agp card.please reply fast i will be grateful i want to sell this card soon
