How do I send a picture message on my Samsung Blackjack?

I lost my cord to upload pics from my phone to my computer, so Im just gonna send the pic to my friend. But my phone wont let me. When I try sending a normal txt, it wont let me attach a picture or file. and then when i try to send a multimedia message, it makes me set up an email account. How can I send it?
