Farting in front of someone you are emotionally close to: a sign of disrespect, or a sign of intimacy?

depends. I fart ALOT but i also haev a bowel condition where holding them in is a bit harder for me and i produce MORE gas than the average person. I always fart in front of my husband, and he doesnt mind but he is NOT allowed to fart infront me me because it literally makes me sick and i gag/almost vomit, so its disrespectful TO ME for him to fart since i get VERY nautious at others bodily smells. that may seem wrong, but i cant help it if other ppls' farts make me SICK. My farts dont make my husband sick, so therefore it 'depends'
