Do you think San Diego were foolish by getting rid of Drew Brees and Marty Schottenheimer in favor of?

You have to go back to that time. Brees had a horrible year and the Chargers drafted Rivers. But then Brees bounced back and got hurt, and the Chargers had already committed to Rivers. So I can understand both points of view. I guess more than anything I credit Brees for busting tail and making himself a consistently elite QB. As for Schottenheimer, he couldn't win a playoff game. Turner has already taken the Chargers to the AFC Championship. So I'd say that's no worse than a wash.
